On a beautiful sunny September day in 2007, after a long and workday that is stressful I took a left turn that forever changed my life. It had been a day similar to other work days. I was willing to get back home, make some dinner, and acquire settled for the night – but that never happened.
I picked up my cellular phone to call a close friend, when I did of many days after work. She and I also chatted writing websites for a few minutes and then ended our conversation.

I pulled away from my parking spot, turned right out of the parking lot, then proceeded to your next stop sign. While looking both ways I noticed a white truck in the far distance and proceeded to roll forward and use the left turn. I was t-boned on the front driver side by the white truck, which turned out to be a Ford F-450 commercial truck as I turned. All I remember hearing was the rumbling of crushing metal.
Needless to say my beloved car that I had worked so difficult for seemed to be totaled.
Every one of my airbags deployed, my front windshield was smashed in, the driver’s window was broken, my key jammed into the ignition, and I also was unconscious. Whenever I came to my reaction that is first was. I looked available for a moment, heard voices talking to me, then I felt an unbearable pain in my right hand. When I looked down at my hand I realized that it seemed to be separated from my wrist. Moments later I heard a gentleman (firefighter) behind me telling me that everything would definitely be okay and therefore he needed me to stay calm, not move my head, and that I happened to be going to hear lots of loud noise. That driver side door was jammed while the jaws of life needed to be used.
It did actually take forever when it comes to door to split away, but I happened to be finally able to get out and into an ambulance for the ride into the hospital.Continue reading
